Thevetia peruviana is a plant with high medicinal potential due to its content of flavonoids with antimicrobial, antioxidant and anticancer activities. The culture of plant cells in suspension emerges as a strategy to sustainably increase the production of biomass and metabolites of pharmaceutical value.
